of...The Melodious Vibes Music Group
The music began with two musicians. A saxophonist by the name of Allan
de Lara and a pianist named Glen Nerona.
In 1995, Melodious Vibes was established and both musicians performed
together throughout their high school,
college and university years. Both believed in having only the best
music selections and qualified musicians for their client's special
events.
The Melodious Vibes select team of quality musicians continue to perform
their eclectic styles of music in various events and venues within the
Toronto Scene. Performing in such tourist venues as: the Rogers Center, the
Art Gallery of Ontario, the Canadian National Exhibition
and the Royal Ontario Museum. In addition, performing in vibrant banquet halls,
restaurants and bars such as: The Paramount, Liberty Grand, Pearson Convention Center, Fairmont Royal York, Old Mill, Marlowe restaurant and
wine bar and the Chic Chinoise restaurant and lounge.
The Melodious Vibes instrumentation consists of: saxophones, piano, bass,
guitar, drums and vocals. Melodious Vibes encounters and collaborates
with many talented artists and musicians from different backgrounds
and experience.
The musical selections began with the classic sounds and rhythms of
Jazz. Jazz has been an influential tool for the Melodious Vibes arrangements
and repertoire selections. Other styles of music include: classical,
latin jazz,
classic and contemporary r&b ballads, acid jazz, funk and house
to name a few.
Melodious Vibes performes to all walks of life in almost any function
imaginable. Specializing in live music entertainment for private or
social functions such as: weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, corporate
gatherings, trade shows
and dinner entertainment for bars and restaurants.
